6° Day – From Carlopago to Zara

The sixth stage of this exploration of the Eurovelo 8 started from Karlobag towards Zadar, a long stage but with a pleasant altimetry, following the wonderful coast of Croatia. There are many villages and exciting views encountered along the way and the crossing of the stretch of sea that separates the island hosting Zadar from the mainland is evocative. Zadar is a wonderful city that definitely deserves a stop and a visit.

Small note: entering the city is not the easiest but this often happens because the cities are not designed for cyclists, the attitude of the people in this area of Croatia is much worse: 4-, they really have no respect for those who travel on two wheels!
